The Condition Based Maintenance plus Enterprise System, CBM+ ES, solution is designed to collect, record, analyze, and present equipment performance and maintenance data to sailors on the ship. This increases sailors' efficiency at planning and performing ship-board maintenance. CBM+ ES also enables distance support. The data is transmitted and stored in a shore-based repository where the Navy's maintenance community has visibility on hull, mechanical and electrical system status. This allows for the more efficient planning and execution of shipyard maintenance availabilities, as well as troubleshooting support while the ships are at sea. CBM+ ES directly supports Naval Sea Systems Command's priorities for On-Time Delivery of Ships, as well as supporting a Culture of Affordability.
